Energy Trust of Oregon’s Winter Lighting workshop ends in Award for Lights There
On a cold, icy February morning, lighting specialists from all over Oregon converged at The Red Lion Hotel, Jantzen Beach. The air was crisp and cold but the faces were warm and friendly.
After breakfast there were six classes. These specialized trainings included: An Overview of the Lighting and Mechanical Incentive Programs, Diffusing Difficult Situations, How to Expand Sales, Lighting Tool Tips to Expedite Your Project, Exterior Lighting Systems, and Lighting Controls.
The seminar also showcased a wide variety of new and familiar products by vendors. Attendees were able to glimpse available and upcoming products that meet the incentive program requirements.
The Energy Trust of Oregon wrapped up the event with an inclusive class on Getting to Yes and How to Assess Clients Needs. They also settled rumors on the 2019 incentive program changes (There were not many for 2019) and noted changes that will be coming January 2020.
Before everyone made the trek home, many participants were drawn for prizes, some businesses won awards and the doors were closed with congratulations, handshakes and the foundation of another bright year for energy conservation.

For the second year in a row, Lights There won an award for Outstanding Contributions in Commercial and Industrial Lighting.

We are rapidly growing and excited to help more businesses save energy and money.
